Jackie is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and member of the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council. She began her career carrying out psychological research, obtaining a Ph.D. from University College London. As a clinician she has worked with all age groups and has held several leadership roles in the National Health Service. She is currently employed as the lead psychologist at the Centre for Weight Management, Metabolic and Endocrine Surgery, University College London Hospitals NHS Trust.
In her clinical work, Jackie uses of a range of evidence-based psychological models. She is an expert in mindfulness based psychological interventions, including the delivery of group programmes, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme and the Mindful Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT). Jackie is passionate about making psychological theory and methods accessible to all and as such has very much enjoyed working with Behaviour Change Training to design and deliver courses for allied health professionals.
